Bernies Guest House was constructed in 2013 not very long ago, prior to this Bernie’s inn was an Ayurved centre. So we have a good knowledge in herbal medicine and body massages. Bernie’s inn is situated in the heart of the Tourist centre and fishing village. Its main attractions are 2 minutes walk to the beach and Negombo beach park. Browns Beach Hotel is right in front.
15 minutes to city center, fish market and the famous historical temples. 20 minutes to the Katunayaka international airport. To the Hamilton Lake it’s a hop/step and a jump. With rodeo pub and many Restaurants and local eating houses are very nearby.

Bernies Guest House currently consists of 4 bed rooms & a 1 room apartment with cozy living room T.V. fridge, kitchen and cooking utensils. 1 treble room enough for a family of 3 with kitchen & cooking utensils. All the other rooms are standard rooms with fan and A/C. At Bernie’s inn we have a friendly management and staff who can speak fluent English. Bernadine the manager herself is a qualified English teacher who has lots of patience with people of all ages. At Bernie’s inn we serve breakfast to your choice and convenience under the shade of a mango tree. There is an open kitchen where you can make your own coffee/tea & even cook your own meals relax under the mango tree and enjoy your stay. At Bernie’s inn we organize city tours, day tours, round tours, Boat trips, deep sea fishing, diving, renting of motor bicycles, push bicycles, rent a car, laundry, Ayurveda treatment with qualified doctors, airport pickups and drops at any time of the hour. Babysitter on request. Every effort is made to make you our guest as comfortable as possible.

We arrange tours to any part of the island, whether it is cultural, wild life safari, dolphin/whale watching, white water rafting, diving/snorkeling or just lazing or strolling on its many beautiful beaches.
For guests who are interested in learning how to cook an authentic Sri Lankan curry cooking classes are held in house, or for the more adventurous in a locals home.
